Private Maryland HQL and Wear and Carry

Class Description

This is a private two-day (16 hours) class qualifying for the Maryland HQL, the Maryland Wear and Carry permit, and a multi-state non-resident CCW. The course contents can be customized to your needs as long as they meet the states requirements. You can invite your friends/coworkers/clients for an additional charge. Classroom Instruction: • Safe Gun Handling. • Pistol Parts. • Pistol Operation. • Ammunition. • Cleaning and Maintenance. • Holsters. • Applicable Federal Laws. • Maryland Firearms Laws. • Use of Deadly Force. • Mindset. • Interactions with law enforcement. • Application requirements. Range session: • Demonstrate Safety principles. • Demonstrate Marksmanship Skills. • Shoot and qualify. Requirements: • Healthy positive attitude. • At least 100 rounds of ammunition. Note: Students often use 200 rounds or more. • Ear protection! • Wrap around eye protection! • Willingness to learn. Location will be determined after we discuss your needs and may incur an additional expense. The second day will depend on specific needs and availability and will ne discussed.
